Conference Experience
Will there be a mobile app or digital platform for the conference?
At this time, there is no mobile app or digital platform planned for the conference. All essential information will be available on the website and shared via email prior to the event.
Will sessions be recorded or available on-demand after the event?
No, sessions will not be recorded or shared after the conference. We encourage attendees to participate in person to get the most out of the event.
What is the dress code for the conference?
Business casual is recommended for all sessions and events. For evening receptions or special events, smart casual attire is appropriate.
Are there any social or cultural events planned?
Yes! In addition to the technical program, there will be happy hours, a social event at the Western Development Museum, and Friday Tours sponsored by SRC.
Registration & Policies
What is included in the registration fee?
- 3.5 days of programming
- Plenary lectures featuring executives from across the globe
- Access to exhibits
- Three networking cocktail receptions
- Daily AM/PM refreshments
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the conference venue
- Lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (RSVP required; space is limited)
- Social evening at the Western Development Museum (Wednesday)
The lunches were sold out. Can I get a discount? Or can I still attend lunch if I did not reserve?
No, registration fees remain the same regardless of lunch availability.
You are welcome to wait at the door. If there are no-shows and space becomes available, we will be happy to seat you.
Do you offer one-day registration?
No, we do not offer one-day registration passes. All attendees must register for the full conference.
Do you offer visitor passes for the Trade Show?
No, the Trade Show is not open to the public. Only full-paying delegates may attend.
Do you offer member discounts (e.g., life, retired)?
Yes, CIM members benefit from the full range of registration discounts, including life and retired member rates. Email membership@cim.org for assistance.
Can my spouse or partner attend the conference?
No, we do not offer a spouse or guest registration option. Spouses are considered guests who do not have any scientific or educational interest in the conference. If a spouse or guest wishes to attend the technical program or workshops, they must register and pay the full conference fee.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
- All registrations are considered final as of August 7: on of before August 7, cancellations are subject to 50% cancellation fee on the total purchase price. As of August 8, no refunds are applied. Visa refusals are not excluded from this registration policy.
- Substitutions must be submitted in writing by the original registrant no later than September 1, 2025

Is there a group rate for accommodations?
Yes, we have secured discounted rates at the Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel in Saskatoon. Please visit the Housing & Travel webpage for details and booking links. The deadline for this discounted rate is August 8, 2025.
How do I get to the venue from the airport?
The Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel is approximately 15 minutes from Saskatoon International Airport. Taxis, rideshares, and public transit are available. Visit our Housing & Travel page for more details.
Is parking available at the venue / hotel?
Yes, parking is available at the Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel for a daily fee. Please check with the hotel for current rates.
